We connect people through what they chose to tell about themselves. We do not read your messages. Here is what that means in practice.
We do not read your messages
Conversations on THE LIVE are visible only to you and the person you write to. We do not read them, analyse them or use them to match you with anyone. This is enforced at the database level, not just by policy.
Matching uses only what you chose to share
Introductions and the people directory are built exclusively from your profile: your name, role, company, country and the few lines you wrote about yourself. Nothing is inferred behind your back.
Your consent is explicit and reversible
Your profile appears to other guests only after you tick a separate, clearly worded checkbox. You can withdraw it at any time in your profile, and you disappear from the directory immediately.
You can delete everything in two clicks
Your profile page has a delete button. It permanently removes your profile, connections, messages and saved sessions. No emails to support, no waiting period.
No commissions, no hidden agenda
THE LIVE earns from tickets, partnerships and membership. We take no fees from any deal or investment that may follow an introduction, so we have no incentive to mine your data.
European rules by default
