Exchange Principles
The network works only because every member keeps these rules, and admission is confirmed by a person, not by a form.
Trust is the product
Every profile here was confirmed by a person on THE LIVE team, not by a form. Treat the people you meet here as introduced to you by a friend.
What you learn here stays here
The directory, messages and posts exist for members' own use. They are never to be copied into lists, exported, forwarded to colleagues or shared with any third party, including your own service providers.
No unsolicited selling
Members do not pitch products or services to other members who did not ask. If you have something to offer, post it as "Can offer" on the Exchange and let interested members come to you.
Disclose your interest
If you have a financial interest in a deal you post or forward (ownership, carry, a fee, a commission, a referral arrangement), say so in the post itself and in every message about it.
Partners on members' terms
Partners of THE LIVE never receive member lists, never message members unasked, and appear only in the places marked as partner placements. THE LIVE takes no fee from any deal or investment that follows an introduction.
You decide what is visible
Every post carries a visibility level you choose: visible, private, confidential, or represented by THE LIVE. Your profile appears in the directory only after your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Conflicts are handled in the open
If a competitive situation or a conflict of interest arises between members, say so and step back from that conversation. Disagreements are settled between the people involved, professionally.
